Identification

The first part of a descriptive text is IDENTIFICATION. The function is to know about the subject being described. In this part, you can get the information about a thing or person, place or time of the subject being described.
Description

The second part of a descriptive text is DESCRIPTION. It gives you the description of the subject being described. It can be elaborated into general and specific description. In general description, it tells you about the description in quality and the characteristic of the subject in general. On the other hand, in specific description, it tells you about the description in detail and also the unique characteristics of the subject.

Conclusion

The last part of a descriptive text is CONCLUSION, but this is an optional. Sometimes some writers don`t write this part. In this part, it tells you about the statements of the writers. It can be a fact or an opinion.
